I started a ecommerce store back in January 2017, it seriously was so good back then. I made a huge amount of sales that year and really learnt the ropes of the system. I've written some other articles that you may find very helpful, take a look below;
Why I Use Shopify
If you’re looking to start an eCommerce store that is hosted on a reliable platform, then choosing Shopify for your eCommerce needs may be the answer. Shopify is an excellent choice for an eCommerce platform and I personally have had a great experience with them.
Ecommerce has been one of the best things that has ever happened to me. As you can tell from my previous Shopify stores, I have made over $100,000 from running a successful ecommerce store in 2017 alone.
I am able to work from home, I can travel whenever I want and my schedule has become more flexible than when I was constricted to a 9-5 day job.
Anyone can make money with Shopify and I was able to make my initial investment of $29 in the first few weeks and I went on to make more than that.
Shopify is one of the top eCommerce platforms in 2019 and you can start your own shopify store for as low as $29 a month. Also, if you sign up using my link then you get a 14-day free trial with them.

You may be thinking, “Well I can just start an eCommerce store on my WordPress site for a little cheaper and start selling products this way” NOOOOO… Don’t do that!
The main problem with that is you won’t be able to really optimize your store for sales you need and another thing is you’ll quickly run into your store not being able to handle a huge amount of traffic.
This could impact your ability to make a lot of sales. Kylie Jenner doesn’t run her store on WordPress, she uses Shopify to host it.

Shopify Login from Desktop
Often when we arrive at the shopify customer login we are prompted with entering our store credentials and password. If you managed to forget the password and entered in a incorrect password you will be prompted with an on screen verification check.
We can access the store admin access by typing : https://storename.myshopify.com/admin into our browser.

The next step is to enter your store url as shown in the image above. Once you do that you are requested to input your email addressed that you used for the store.
This is the email you signed up with and not your customer support email that you may have used when you Signed up to Shopify.

Once you have done that you're good to Login to the admin page :).
If you did enter the incorrect login information into your store page. Then you will be prompted with verifying process. I find that this may happen when you're browsing in private/incognito mode and regular mode.
The verification process for the Shopify Login includes selecting a few images, ticking the check box to verify that you are not a robot and presto you're in.
How to Login from Mobile
To login to your admin panel from mobile, which includes IOS and Android. You could either do the above method for desktop but it only works in the mobile browser of the phone.
What I find easier is having the App, and you can get this from the respective google play store or for IOS from the apple store.
I have the IOS app so I will show you an example through the iPhone. It's really the same interface so there's nothing big to worry about. Fire up the Shopify Login app and click "Log In". You will be requested to enter the following;
- email address of store;
- password of store;

Login to Multiple Shopify Merchant Accounts
Logging into Multiple stores can only really be done on either per browser (firefox, safari, chrome) or through the mobile app.
When you're logged into your first store, you need to tap the store icon at the bottom right. Then at the top of this new screen it will have your store name with a little drop down button beside it.
Click that and a menu will drop down (like the image below), and click "Log in to Existing Store".
Once you do that the Shopify login screens from the preceding section discussed appears again. Enter your email and password of the new store and the Member Login.

If you've just started a store leave a comment in the box below with your biggest ecommerce challenge of 2019, I'd love to hear your trials and tribulations.
Important eCommerce Resources
- Shopify is my most recommended eCommerce platform over WooCommerce. If you're thinking of selling things online like t-shirt or print on demand merch, then check out this tutorial.
- I use Dropified for all my Shopify dropshipping stores! Although Oberlo is free, I've never really enjoyed it because it does not automatically fulfill the order. Dropified automatically fulfills the order once the tracking becomes live on Aliexpress (stops customers emailing you if the tracking is not live). Dropified have a free 14-day trial.
- Sweet Upsell is a cost effective tool for improving your average order value by offering limited time discounts to certain products after your customers make a purchase. Improving your average order value is a great way for increasing profits and reducing advertising costs.
- My most recommended dropshipping Shopify theme I use for all my eCommerce stores is Booster Theme. It comes with all the necessary apps (except fulfillment) that will save you at least $89/month. Check out my review of Booster Theme Here.
- If booster theme is out of your price range then I recommend getting Debutify, which starts at a free plan with limited features and then moving onto a tiered monthly plan unlocking certain add on features in different tiers. Check out Debufity here.
- Canva is another great tool I use for creating high engaging Facebook Ad thumbnails and also for creating Print on Demand designs such as t-shirts, mugs or anything else print on demand. They have tonnes of free graphics, vectors, fonts and images under their premium plans.
- Pexda is a product research tool I use when I'm feeling a bit lazy and I want to find Dropshipping products to test without doing any of your own product research. They find the top trending products that are trending and their Ultimate Plan gives you suggestions for products that haven't really been advertised yet.
These are courses/products I have personally vetted and recommend.
